Just down from the origin of Weeki Wachee Springs, in Hernando County, Florida, a kayak rental service serves the public at the Weeki Wachee River. For a reasonable price, this company will let you rent a kayak for a self-guided tour drifting at your own pace with the river flow westward. The designated run covers 7 of the 7.4 miles of crystal-clear river from springs to the Gulf of Mexico while the scenic river passes through the authentic Florida woodlands and provides close-up views of native wildlife such as animals, birds, and tropical fish.
My Trip I enjoyed a leisurely glide down the smoothly flowing river with some of my family members. I had my camera with me and got some great photos of the clear and bluish water with fish in it, a water bird and many beautiful trees and native plants. We took our time and let others pass ahead of us. I appreciated going slow and taking pictures of nature and family fun. Some people passing us saw deer and I got to the spot in time to see the animals dashing away, too bad I couldn't get a shot of them with my camera! Depending on the time of year, many manatees make the river their home and feeding grounds. When we went, most of them were out in the Gulf of Mexico, but we did see one very large, older manatee in a quiet pool. My camera was not for underwater, so my photos of the manatee look like a rounded stone in the water. My Recommendations: - We were very glad we brought drinking water along. -I also recommend if you have your inflatable kayak fishing setup ready - Some snacks would be helpful. Kayaking is fun, but using energy necessitates adding fuel, and the trip can take a couple of hours or more unless no stops are made. - Bug repellant is a must. The deer flies were biting when we were there. - Sunscreen and sunglasses are important. The river is not completely shaded. - Those timid in water, or those who have never navigated a kayak for themselves, may want to get a two seated kayak with a friend or family member who is more experienced with kayaking or canoeing. Still, the river is calm and minimal steering can keep the kayak pointed downstream. - Bring a waterproof camera. The river is gorgeous and a great place to photograph the real Florida! I brought my regular digital camera and dropped it when I was getting out of my kayak. The photos turned out fine, and I was so glad it was turned off at the time. Thankfully the camera dried out to work as good as new a couple days later! Still, the camera could have been ruined!

Among lots of Kayaks, the Emotion Kayak company is surely one of the most flexible and also the most assorted. The variety of kayaks available from Emotion Kayaks is unbelievable, it would not compete with another brand. In addition to that, despite the fact that the majority of kayaks can be obtained at less costly costs, the craftsmanship is marginal and in many cases aren't durable. Almost any Emotion Kayak can outplay and outlive just about any other kayak that you might assess to it, plus more. Using their utter affordability, assorted abilities, and toughness of the actual components implemented, you can be sure that each and every Emotion Kayak that you choose to buy is mostly a secure buy.
Here are some of the most popular Emotion Kayaks which can be currently offered out there. Certainly this could make your mind up should you be at this time in search of good kayaks: 1) Emotion Temptation The Emotion Temptation has gained essentially the most famous designation of "Best Leisure Kayak of the Year", and for valid reason. First of all, it features a seriously smooth overall look that may genuinely provoke you to purchase it as the name implies. It is a sit-on-top that may be suitable for beginners not to mention pros. It seems to be uniquely compact yet once you use it, it is going to look like you are using a way longer kayak. 2) Emotion Advant-Edge It's recently been referred to as "most sexy" kayak from Emotion, significantly more sexy when compared with its predecessor, the Emotion Edge. It comes with commonplace abilities for an Emotion Kayak, yet the rigid element of its design is the reason for enhanced overall performance. It really is noticeably longer, and contains a pair of pointed tips making it travel speedier. 3) Emotion Bliss When you've got quite a compact physique and you simply think that your physique is not fitted to the majority of kayaks, Emotion Kayaks possesses just the solution for you - the Emotion Bliss. It really is excellent for newbie paddlers of any age, irrespective of weight and height. The wide framework of the Glide promises stability while you are gliding on the water, yet is incredibly lightweight and very moveable at the same time. 5) Emotion Mojo A further "sit on top" kayak from Emotion, the Emotion Mojo brings together a few characteristics of the Emotion Glide and Emotion Temptation. Due to the calm layout and substantial steadiness, it might most likely be the very best sport fishing kayak available.
